What would be a good USB wireless Network Adapter?
So turns out that my internal wireless adapter card (Broadcom) is not working so I need to buy a new one. My computer runs on windows vista Home premium. Does anybody know of a good USB wireless network adapter. i would need one that works fast, and gets good reception almost anywhere. THanks.

Hey, I have that same problem. I am using an HP, and I think you’re the same. Bad thing. But I guess we can fix it at a Service Center.
If you do want a USB one, then look for from from companies like Linksys, Broadcom (but we have had a bad experience with it), Belkin, Netgear or any major computer manufacturing company.
Also, remember that if there are any other apparatus being used, like a router, network expansion antenna, hardware firewall etc. then the performance is better when using the same companies’ hardware together.

I got useful accessories at http://techawave.jitbid.com/techawave/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=532714

I would suggest a linksys wireless card adapter.. Works well, has a pretty straightforward utility manager and is relatively inexpensive..
