basically wanted to see if its possible to get internet through usb port with usb internet wireless adapter, if my xbox 360 internet port is broken.
So, I dont have very great internet at my house, so I was wondering if it would help at all to hook my old xbox 360′s wireless adapter to my new xbox 360 slim. Would it help me have a better connection to live?
I’ve heard that I can’t use the cable that came with my Xbox 360 Elite. I’ve also heard that I need a special CROSSOVER Ethernet Cable. Is this true?
Ok so i will not pay 0 to get the microsoft wireless adapter. I already have a fast router. I am tired of bringing my xbox downstairs to hook up to the router with wires. i have a windows 98 computer up in my room(where i want my xbox 360) with internet wirelessly connected from the router (i dont ever use the computer though). could someone tell me if it is possible for me to plug my xbox into the upstairs computer and somehow take the internet off it? if not could you point me in the direction of a CHEAP wireless adapter that will work for xbox 360 so i can connect to xbox live? I have an original xbox wireless adapter, model # MN-740, and am trying to connect my xbox 360 to it. The 360 recognizes the wireless bridge and is connected, but for some reason it fails every time on the IP Address part. I have a Belkin wireless router, model # F5D7230-4. The people at xbox support say it will work, but they, as well as I, think that some kind of setting with my pc or router is stopping the communication. The adapter’s firmware is up to date. I’ve rattled my noggin for a week on this thing so far and have no results yet. Any suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advanced.
