I saw a video of someone hooking up the XBOX original wireless adapter to his X360. Can that still be done?

I’m trying to setup the original Microsoft XBOX wireless adapter, but I can’t find any good information on how to connect it to the XBOX 360 on the current dashboard. I’ve seen a video tutorial featuring the old dashboard, but that doesn’t seem to help with the current one. Anyone know how to do this?

Would a wireless adapter in a laptop connect to broadband?

I guess my first question is:
Is broadband something with a modem that you plug into your wall? or does it need to connect to a computer source to get internet?

Second:
Do you get a modem that wireless sources(like laptops/Xbox live wireless adapters) can connect to?

Yea sorry i’m basically clueless about this type of connection. lol broadband.

How do i use my Linksys router with my "official" xbox 360 wireless adapter?

I have a WRT54GX4 Linksys wireless router which i can’t seem to get to work with my official Xbox 360 adapter. I have read the "Official" forums and they do not address this problem and i can’t seem to figure it out. Usually when i try to connect it either can’t get an IP address or fails the DNS test but i have found that now it even fails the wireless network test even though it sees my wireless network and it passes the wireless network adapter test. I have heard rumors about downloads from xbox live which i cannot find when i finnally dust off the good old ethernet cable. I also checked the Linksys site and it said nothing so i updated my firmware on my router anyway. I am currently running 1.00.17 firmware on my router and 4.3.19.1 firmware on my "official" xbox 360 wireless adapter. Can Somebody please help me?

I have wireless internet from my first router (main one) in my house in the 1st floor, when I add to my network in the 2nd floor another wireless router it gives me network problems, I believe I need to configure the 2nd router so it only works as a bridge (is bridge the right word or meaning?), how can I do this? please help me. In my network, first there is the cable modem and then the first or main router, from this 1st router many cables come out to many switches for ip cameras and for xbox, but I canot seem to install a wireless router 2nd one) in the 2nd floor of my house, how can I do this???? Please explain me. The first router is a Belkin brand and the second one is a Dlink brand, do I have to configure the 1st router (main one, Belkin brand)? or only the second one?
The second wireless router is connected through cable (not wireless) from the 1st router.
