Is there anyway that I could find the password without asking someone for it? I’m using an iPod Touch to access the wireless network. If someone could help that’d be great.
Ever once in a while, especially when I am away from the computer, my laptop drops the wireless network. It latches onto some other random unsecured network and I have to go disconnect and hook up to my network.
This has never happened before and I’m tired of having to repeatedly connect to my network. Any idea why its happening and how I can avoid it?
At home, we have a wireless network. We have numerous computers that connect to that network (some laptops and some PCs). Since having my new laptop, one of the PCs can no longer open websites. I think it may be because my laptop has overtaken the same IP address. How do I check and see and change the IP address of one computer?
I have a wireless connection that requires a WEP wireless key, I use the wireless network everyday, what freeware programs can i use to recover the key?
In my dorm hall, we have a restricted wireless network that many people can get through without having to pay for the wireless service the college offers(it automatically did this, they didnt know what happened). However, when I try to connect, it’s status keeps at "validating identity". How can I get around this like the other people in my hall did?
I already have a desktop and a laptop on my wireless network. I bought a new desktop computer and want to add it to the network. On my first desktop I have the router and another box connected to it. Do I need to buy another box for the new computer?
My wireless network has always been unsecure. It is now secure and I can’t access it. I’m thinking someone is using my internet. Any thoughts?
I want to see who is on my open wireless network and what websites they are visiting. Is this possible? I am purposely NOT putting a password on the router.
I am tired of the stupid windows wireless network connectivity utility. I would like anything else as the windows one doesn’t work half the time. My roommate has a netgear utility but it won’t work on my laptop because I don’t have the pci card. I don’t want to buy any adaptors because I already have the wifi built in I just want a program that allows me to find and connect to wireless networks. Thanks.
