So I have cable internet on my desktop through comcast, but I also want internet on my laptop. If i get wireless internet for my laptop I don’t want to pay extra for my cable internet. How can I get internet for both without having to need 2 different internet packages?

When I try, the Wii is able to identify my home wifi network as an access point but the connection test always fails, even if I manually enter the IP address, DNS, etc. The customer support at Nintendo said that accessing through wireless internet like Clear.com (which I use) could be difficult. Is this true or just corporate buck-passing, and how can I make it work?
Now, here’s the low down, I have wireless internet, a router, and 2 xp desktops, and 3 vista laptops, and a xp laptop. I want the printer on one of my xp desktops to be able to print something from the laptops… but I can figure out how? (the printer is hooked up to a desktop that is hardwired into my wireless network… not wirelessly connected… HELP

My parents’ room has the wireless modem which is connected to their computer.We have blink cable so a ruckuss wireless access point is connected to the modem which is connected to another one downstairs which is connected to the set top box.In my room there is a desktop computer and I want to get wireless internet on that one not by installing anything on the computer but by having some external device connected to it.Im hoping to get a ps3 so i want the thing so i can go up on the internet with it.PLZ HELP ME EZ 1O PTS.
I just moved into my new apartment that offers wireless internet. The only problem is I don’t have a wireless card for my desktop and my xbox doesn’t have wireless. Is there a cheap type of router I can buy and configure to turn the wireless internet offered into several wired connections for my other devices?

i have a netbook, and i want to be able to get high-speed, wireless internet on it.
but here’s the thing, i don’t want to have to go get an airport card installed, i don’t have the time or money for that.
so what type of USB plug-in should i use to get high-speed internet access?
well, i just want to be able to pick up on wi-fi hot spots, so all i really need is something (such as an airport card) that will let me take advantage of those.
I have a standard cable modem used for internet thru time warner. I want to set up a wireless network. Can i simply plug a wireless router into the modem and get wireless internet. If not can some one tell me how set this up? T.W cable wants to charge bucks to use the router plus a month for service….screw that. any help please

Im planning to buy a wifi adapter for my desktop computer but its a new computer and it has no internet connection whatsoever. But will I be able to install my wifi adapter with no internet connection needed while installing it? and to clarify my question I already have wireless internet and a modem its just I am curious to know whether I need internet before I install my wifi adapter just incase the adapter might need to install software and so on
We have wireless internet but it doesn’t show up on my dad’s Dell 2000 XP computer for the network.
It does on my laptop… but not on my dads comp. What can I do? Sorry I’m really computer illiterate.
