I have a computer that connects to the internet with wireless connection which I get from my USB, but somehow it lost the hardware and when I try to reinstall the hardware it requested drivers to be installed which my computer can’t seem to find is the USB broken or anything? I recently had a spyware attack on my laptop, but got it all repaired and now I can’t access the internet. My wireless connection is ‘Excellent’, but when I go to open a browser, it says that IE can’t connect to the web page. I have repaired the network connection and re-entered the IP address as well. Anyone have any ideas?
How can you find an wireless internet connection on a windows XP?
The strange thing is, my wireless worked perfectly on my desktop before, but then one day it just stopped.
I searched on help and support, it tells me to go to Network and Connections thing in control panel and to click on the "View available wireless networks" task. Sounds sensible, so I go and look, but when I do there is no such task.
So is there another way I can search for my wireless connection? This is getting pretty weird.
