How can I setup the wireless on a Lexmark Prospect PRO205 without the installtion CD?

The wireless on the panel is for WPS (push button setup) but the wireless access point does not support that. According to the Lexmark website, you have to have the installation CD. I’ve tried browsing the network to see it and assigned MAC ID on the access point to allow it but those did not work. Any ideas? Or any place to download the installation CD? I have drivers and don’t need those. Just the installation CD.

How do I connect my home network to a wireless Internet provider?

In my apartment building Internet is provided by a Meraki wireless access point. However, only one device (iPad, desktop, phone, etc.) can be connected at a time. How can I configure or modify my home network to connect the Internet to my own wireless router or access point to distribute the Internet to multiple devices at once.

Can I use a wireless access point to connect wired devices to the internet THROUGH a wireless signal?

My wireless router is upstairs but I have devices w/o wireless cards downstairs which I would like to connect to the internet. I need a device which will connect these wired devices to the wireless signal- would a wireless access point be what I’m looking for?

Thanks!!
Have tried USB wireless adapters in the past and have had horrible luck with them. If you can recommend one which actually works, I’ll check it out.

Will an 802.11g device benefit from the added range of an 802.11n wireless access point (with g enabled)?

If I have a wireless access point that supports 802.11n and 802.11g modes, and I use a 802.11g device, will I be able to benefit from the extra range that an 802.11n router provides? Or, is that range specific to the use of the 802.11n protocol?

REFERENCE: Wikipedia lists the 802.11n indoor range as 70 meters and 802.11g as 45 meters http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.11

Do you need a router for your psp to have internet or a wireless access point?

Okay, I have a Sony PSP and I was wondering if I had to buy a wireless router for internet access, or do I have to go to a place that has a wireless access point? Somewhere that has Wi-Fi. There’s a coffee shoppe downtown I might be able to get internet there on it. They have Wi-Fi, and suggestions about access points? Do you have any suggestions about the best routers to buy?

After secureing my linksys i can't access my wireless access point anymore?

Hello everyone, actually i do have two problems and maybe someone out there can help me with one of these hopefully tiny problems.

First problem is after i have secured my linksys ( wireless-g broadband router model wrt54gl ) connection with WPA2 personal preshared webkey i can’t access my d-link ( airplus xtreme g wireless access point model dwl-2100ap ) anymore which is located on a different floor in the house. If someone could give me an easy understandable step by step guidance how to fix that and make both components secure that would be very much appreciated ( Still have all the installation cd’s if required ).

Second problem is that i have encountered a zipped file which contains one META.INF folder ( Manifest.mf ) and a bunch of class files. The files look like that > a.class, ab.class, bb.class, c.class, cb.class, and so on. There are in total 43 class files. Can someone please tell me how to make sense of all that in an easy way? Maybe a program i could use? I figured out that these class files belong to Java if i am not mistaken but that doesn’t help me much as i don’t know how to put the whole thing together.

Thanks very much to all of you who take the time to read my questions, and hopefully someone will be able to help me out

Best Regards

How can I split a signal from my wireless access point with a wired router?

I have a wireless access point giving internet to my computer in my bedroom. I’d like to split that signal to also give signal to my directv receiver. I have a wired router. But when i connect the WAP to the WAN port on the router and then connect the computer and receiver to the router, I lose connectivity. how can I split the WAP signal to the computer and the tv receiver?
sorry, I should’ve been clearer. i have a wireless access point that I use because otherwise I don’t get a signal. it has one and only one ethernet jack. i wish to get connectivity to more than one device from it, so I’m hoping to use it with the router.
