Sorry if this question doesn’t make sense, as I don’t know that much about internet settings like these and internet connection with Wii.
If the question doesn’t make sense could you try explaining the whole wireless internet thing.
Where do I look to find my wireless router security ID?
I just got a mac laptop and I have a pc and it is wireless home internet, I need my password to get on my internet but I forgot it. I used it before to get the internet on my wii and psp but I did it a long time ago. Right now I’m using my neighbors internet. So how can I get my password for the internet?
I have a router, which is hooked up to my boyfriends computer. We set up the internet on the wii, and the internet did work on it. Now though, whenever my boyfriend wants to use the internet on his compute,r he has to unplug the router from his cmoputer and then plug it back in and then it works. Does anybody else have problems with the internet working on both the wii and the computer? Any suggestions? Thanks!
When I try, the Wii is able to identify my home wifi network as an access point but the connection test always fails, even if I manually enter the IP address, DNS, etc. The customer support at Nintendo said that accessing through wireless internet like Clear.com (which I use) could be difficult. Is this true or just corporate buck-passing, and how can I make it work?
I don’t know why I shouldn’t be able to do this. I have a wireless pc usb card. I also have a router, but I tried connecting it to it with and without the modem, but it didn’t work, probably because the modem has to have a internet cable in it. I also tried making an hoc connection, and it worked, but my wii could not find the ssid number. I think that is only strictly for computer to computer i guess. What do I do?
Also, my laptop is pretty new (dv4-2040us Entertainment Notebook, HP, 64-bit, Windows 7. Should have no problem with it being "outdated")

I have a cradlepoint wireless router, and a wireless sierra sprint card, and they work fine for everything, including three computers and an iPod touch, but the Wii will not work with it. If anybody knows how to make the Wii work, that would be great! Thanks!
My wireless router is set to WPA, and NO I do not want to switch it to WEP for security reasons. As some of you know, the Wii allows you to connect to WPA routers while the DS does not have this feature. I was wondering if I could connect to the internet with my Wii, and connect my DS to my Wii to use the internet.
If this is not possible, is the DS able to connect to ANY WIFI USB connector or do I have to use the Nintendo Wifi USB Connector.

I am asking this because the discontinued the Nintendo Wifi USB connector, and I am planning to buy another brand of Wifi USB connectors.
I was testing with the PS3′s internal wireless, and it sometimes has connectivity issues when I first connect. The 360 doesn’t have on-board wifi, and it costs 50-100 bucks, just for the regular wireless adapter. The wii has wi-fi only, with a or so dollar part for ethernet. My question is this: Is it worth keeping the system wireless, and getting the X-Box 360? Or would I get better signal putting a Linksys WET610N wireless bridge closer to the router [same room], and running cabling through a switch to my consoles? Which one might have the better performance?
I live in India and as everyone knows, wii hasn’t been introduced here.If I want to buy an ethernet to usb cable,the nintendo one,the shipping costs about 5 times the cable’s price.My wii was a birthday gift from USA. Can I connect my wii to internet by any other means?I am not ready to buy another connection or a wireless connector.
Ok so I work from home and its a requirement that I have my work computer hooked up to my dsl cable, no wireless. I would like to also have a wireless network in my home for my other devices, ie tv, wii, laptops, etc. Is there a way I can hook up a wireless router in my home and still keep my home computer hooked up to the dsl cable?
