I have SLVR L7 and I want to access Opera Mini but I can’t cause I need to have an internet access on my phone to do dat. I have t-zones but Im not subsribe in the monthly plan.

is there any way i could get "free" internet access on my phone? if yes, where and how?

I have a bluetooth and a landline internet connection on my Macbook. I have another Dell laptop which also has builtin bluetooth device. Is it possible for me to setup a wireless internet within my house by broadcasting the landline internet connection on my Mac using the bluetooth on Mac, so other devices with bluetooth could also have internet access wirelessly. Is this possible? can someone tell me how I can do this.

Hi I have an 802.11n router connected to a device via ethernet. Both these devices must be downstairs for my convinience.
Upstairs in my loft I have my computer and several other devices that need to be connected to my network via ethernet. I do not want lots of cat5 coming from my loft to downstairs. I want to put another router or switch up in my loft that will bridge wirelessly with my router downstairs. This seems fairly straight forward except researching shows that I won’t be able to bridge wirelessly and also be able to use ethernet in my loft. I read about dd-wrt firmware allowing this but there only seem to be two 802.11n routers that are fully compatible (Linksys wrt350n & wrt600n) but I can’t seem to find anywhere to buy them. Is there any alternative ways I can achive this? Thanks in advance.
Thanks for your replies. I understand it is stupidly easy if I could just run a cat5 to a switch but I can not do it via cable. It must be via wireless that the two ap’s are connected. That is the most important part of the setup.

Let’s say that I have 2 computers, both desktops, and both in far separate rooms. I can’t reach both of them through Ethernet wires from my router, and I just did some research and found out that a "Wireless Ethernet Bridge" seems like a good idea.

My question is, what does this wireless bridge do exactly, and if I’m thinking right, the computers will have a sort of wireless plug from the back of the computer.

Last thing, is the ‘wireless plug’ into the back of the computer USB or does it go into the Ethernet port?

I already have a modem that is connected to a router. This router feeds off 2 long wires to 2 different computers, I just want an easier way for them to have internet without all the hassle of wires everywhere.

My cable box has an ethernet connection on the back. I was wondering if I can use that instead of a standard cable wire for the input? I want to move my modem and router to this room but only have 1 cable wire. It’s a Comcast box with HDMI support if that matters.

I have an HP Pavillion a340n with Windows XP. I think my video card has gone out because after booting the screen goes black but the PC is still on. My question is how do I know what ethernet/graphics cards will fit? The computer has an invidia card now that has both ethernet and graphis on one card. Thanks in advance for any help.

What type of modulation is used for audio and for picture ?

What type of modulating technique is suitable in transmitting a signal through fiber (the signal is already received for measurement and control for an industrial process and already prcoessed by digital computer) ? And, why ……….. AM, FM or PM ?

I was trying to submit my Wi-Fi access point at this website (http://www.skyhookwireless.com/howitworks/submit_ap.php) because Apple encouraged me to do so in order to correct the "Your location could not be determined" error on my iPod. So I pinpointed my house on their map, but then it asked me to provide them with the MAC address of my wireless access point. How do I find this? I downloaded the software they recommended to find it, but it didn’t work. Thanks in advance for your help. Oh, I’m not a huge computer nerd, so please be patient with me, thanks!

is that label the MAC address for the wireless radio thingy in the router? because that’s the one I need. The website told me that most wifi routers have more than 1 mac address and I need the one for the wireless radio in it.
