I am trying to set up my first Home Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN). I have being searching the web for information on routers(wireless Access points), but I am confused about all the different models, brands, etc. I will appreciate the good and bad experiences that some you might have on this field. I would like to know some of the best routers and I’d like to know the the problematic, the non-recommendable ones as well. I’ll analyze your suggestions carefully to set up a reliable and efficient wireless network. I now describe my system: I intend to connect to the network one desktop PC and a maximum of three laptops. Wireless network adapter in the desktop PC, Hp 802.11 b/g. Network connection: Intel(R) PRO/100 VE. Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium.

Intel Core i7 CPU Review

Currently the i7 CPU systems from intel are the top you can come across for a pc. These are chips for the serious multi-tasker. These are CPU’s for the hardcore gamer, the video editor, the music producer and any person else that requirements a great deal of power going to many various processes.

No matter your passion, be it spending hours roaming vast game worlds, or utilizing 3D sculpting software to construct your own, the core i7 can handle the load. I have a pair of core i7 personal computers I use. I game with one, and do my video and audio work on the other. So I can say with some certainty that these processors can deal with virtually anything that’s thrown at them.

I have some specs for you to look over:

i7-960 8 MB SmartCache 3.2 GHz 4.8 GT/s QPI 4

i7-940 8 MB SmartCache 2.93 GHz 4.8 GT/s QPI 4
i7-930 8 MB SmartCache 2.8 GHz 4.8 GT/s QPI 4
i7-920 8 MB SmartCache 2.66 GHz 4.8 GT/s QPI 4
i7-880 8 MB SmartCache 3.06 GHz 2.5 GT/s DMI 4

i7-870 8 MB SmartCache 2.93 GHz 2.5 GT/s DMI 4
i7-860S 8 MB SmartCache 2.53 GHz 2.5 GT/s DMI 4
i7-860 8 MB SmartCache 2.8 GHz 2.5 GT/s DMI 4

Like I said We have two computers running on i7′s at this time, and I believe they’re fantastic. I utilized to run on duel cores, and I thought they were terrific, but the i7 just knocked them flat. I wont try and say it cut my waiting time in half, but I sure noticed the distinction in a large way. The real most important difference shows when you are running a number of apps all at once.
I bear in mind the initial time I tried to lagg it on purpose. I ran my video editing software, audio editing software and a video converter simultaneously. Within the past if I tried to run them all simultaneously I would get bad lagg and have to shut something off. Now I can run them all pretty well. The i7 was able to maintain up with every thing quite well.

WoW and 9Dragons are my games of choice, plus a few single player sorts. I utilized to get a bit of lagg on my old duel core if I set issues past medium, low in some cases. With the i7, and a slightly greater graphics card I can set everything at the top qualty and truly appreciate my gaming now. Aboslutly awesome!

If you’re seeking to get your self a new personal pc and aren’t positive what you want, I suggest you go the additional cost to get an i7 CPU. Anyone that plans to do any sort of intenst activity with their new system must seriously think about the i7, specifically if you are going to be making use of numerous programs at once. Whenever you will need power, you want the top, and at this time the very greatest CPU it is possible to get is an intel core i7.

Take a look at my website were I go into allot more detail, and you can find out what all the hype about a Core i7
really is.

There is always something memerable in a best man speach. Be sure to make it good.

I want to connect the main computer with broadband to this older computer which is going to be located apprx. 120 feet away in a metal sided building.
Can I use ethernet CAT6 cables and an ethernet jack to accomplish this?
I do not think wireless will work with the metal sided building.

Gear Up For Intel Sandy Bridge Processor

All speed hungers gear up for Intel Sandy Bridge processor! With the launch of this high-end processor Intel is going to add another feather to its cap. The processor is expected to hit the US market early next year. Known as the Second Generation Intel Core Processor, this has been named as “Sandy Bridge”. This new processor will make Intel more powerful and efficient to run mobile devices.

The Sandy Bridge processor line has been designed by Intel keeping notebooks in mind. In the recent times, popularity of mobile devices is also roaring and the company wants to capitalize it with its new Sandy Bridge processors. It is true that Intel has not designed these processor for smartphones or tablets, but the processor can easily give good fight against the 2.5 Ghz quad-core Cortex A15 by ARM.

Intel Sandy Bridge has been designed to replace the current Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7 line processors. There will be significant enhancement to performance and capabilities in these new chip lines. The most alluring feature is that in these new processors the core processing and graphics processing have been merged together for the best performance. Intel Sandy Bridge processors will be much cooler and consume lesser power as compared to its predecessors.

According to the company, “Intel’s new processor graphics delivers enhanced visual features focused on the areas where most users are computing today: HD video, 3-D, mainstream gaming, multi-tasking and online socializing and multimedia.” “The processor family will include a new “ring” architecture that allows the built-in processor graphics engine to share resources such as cache, or a memory reservoir, with the processor’s core to increase a device’s computing and graphics performance while maintaining energy efficiency.”

Let’s have a look at the details of Sandy Bridge Processor. It boasts standard clock speed from 2.3 GHz to 3.4 GHz for desktop variants. And for the mobile variants it is from 2.2 GHz to 2.7 GHz. The user can achieve up to 3.8 GHz clock speed by enabling Turbo Boost Technology. There will be Hyper-Threading Technology on some models. At the time of its launch the buyers will get dual-core and quad-core processors. There will be 64KB L1 cache/core (32 KB L1 Data + 32 KB L1 Instruction) (3 clocks) as well as 256KB L2 cache/core, (8 clocks) and Up to 8 MB shared L3 cache (25 clocks) on a ring bus. The integrated graphics core will run at 650 MHz to 850 MHz. if the Turbo Boost Technology is enabled then Sandy Bridge can achieve up to 1350 MHz clock speed.

So, Sandy Bridge will certainly bring a new dimension and offer you a much faster computing experience. gear up for this new processor from Intel. For computer repair support contact an expert.

If you are planning to build a computer with Sandy Bridge processor you have to wait some more days. For tech support to build PC, consult a computer services company.
