I have a macbook version 10.5.8 with a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. (The second part I just put in to help you identify the type of computer). It is a laptop and has a magsafe charger (the T one). It is red/amber when the battery is less than 100% and green when it is 100%.

Now here is the problem: just yesterday it was at 5% so I plugged it in and later turned it off. The charger was green so I unplugged the charger and it wouldn’t turn on. So I plugged it back in and it turned on after a minute. It said it had 0% battery and was charging. But the charger is green indicating that it is fully charged.

So I restarted the computer-still happening. I turned off the computer left it unplugged for 3 hours, then kept it off but plugged it back in. Came back in an hour and it was green– but 0%. If I unplug it, it shuts off and won’t turn on unless I plug it back in. It works while it’s plugged in but isn’t charging!

What do I do?

My internet connection has currently been slow and think it’s the DNS servers because I have tried different ones and can see a difference in speed. I also see a lag between the time i type on the keyboard and when it shows up on the screen. I have Safari 5.0.1 and Mac OS X 10.5.8, Processor 1.6 GHz Intel Core Duo and Memory 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM. The servers I’m currently using are 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220

I just built a new computer with an Intel Core 2 quad, a DFI Blood-Iron motherboard, and a MSI 8800 video card. I need to get a wireless adapter to pick up wireless N signal. I’m trying to decide whether I should buy a wireless card to install in my desktop or just get a wireless usb adapter. What is the difference, if any, and what are the pros and cons of each?

Guys I’ve been looking for "Terminal" on my MacBook but I can’t find it ANYWHERE. Any help? I have a Mac OS X Version 10.5.8. If the Processor and Memory matter I’m running a 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor and a 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM Memory. Get back to me as soon as possible please. I’ve already searched utilities and all those folders, searched spotlight, and I’ve found nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I have an iMac, and I think I bought it around 2008. It has (sadly) around 250GB of Disk Space, which is not nearly enough for my greedy, memory eating self. Is it possible to replace this internal hard drive with a better, larger one, such as a 1TB-2TB? If so, would it void my warranty?

I have a Gateway GT5426E tower with an Integrated Intel 10/100 Mbps Ethernet LAN network adapter. This computer first came with Vista but I just put XP on it and can’t find the right driver anywhere. Now I have no internet access and can’t do anything on that computer. Any help as to where I can get the driver and anything else I might need to connect to the internet?

Im taking industrial design at university and for my 18th im gonna get a new laptop for the course im taking. I need some advice on what laptop to get.

I will need at LEAST:

2ghz dual core (intel preferably, amd are slow)
250gb HDD or more
3gb ram

Other stuff like good wireless etc but not too bothered just want something power full enough to cope easily with 3d programs such as solidworks etc

Either Mac or Windows i really don’t have a preference.
Tablet PCs are cool and would be handy for the course im taking.

Any suggestions please let me know
