I just got a Dell laptop and I want to get wireless internet on it. What is the best service? Many people keeping telling me that AT&T offers the best (I have checked them out, and they seem to be pretty good), but the website makes it sound like I have to switch my desktop internet service over to them as well. How do you get Internet service for just a laptop?
I have a DSL internet connection through AT&T and for some reason everytime a door is closed the internet connection becomes interrupted and goes out for around 2 to 3 minutes before it returns to normal. The only idea I have for this is that my old home security system is tripping the signal when the door is closed?? Any ideas are welcome if you know what the possible cause could be.
We have 4 computers connected by a "switch". All of them runs in windows 7. One has internet connection (Wimax internet – modem is connected into lan-port; so this pc has two lan-port). I want to make this pc server & share it’s internet with other PCs, as well as all 4 PCs should be able to share file with one another.

I have had it with AT&T. Every day I have to deal with my internet disconnecting at a constant rate.
It mostly happens in the day though. Could the heat of Texas be causing it to disconnect constantly?

i have a family plan. 4 lines total. and i want to block internet on just one phone out of the four. is it possible, i have at&t and i want to avoid over charges with my teenager, since i would not like her to have access to the internet.
Iam trying to connect to my own wireless network that I set up & it says Acquiring Network Address…I noticed that there is no address assigned and is showing my IP address s 0.0.0.0 . I know what my computers IP address is, I just dont know how to change it for my wireless network

My wireless router is set to WPA, and NO I do not want to switch it to WEP for security reasons. As some of you know, the Wii allows you to connect to WPA routers while the DS does not have this feature. I was wondering if I could connect to the internet with my Wii, and connect my DS to my Wii to use the internet.
If this is not possible, is the DS able to connect to ANY WIFI USB connector or do I have to use the Nintendo Wifi USB Connector.
