Probkem with my D-LINK wireless router?
I have a wireless D-LINK 802.11g/2.4GHz wireless router DI-524 which used to work an year ago, which was when, it was unplugged last. I try it today by connecting it to my broadband cable modem and the same wireless router would not work.
What happens is that the moment I power it on, the LEDs for the Power, Status, WLAN,1,2,3,4 all get turned on with a constant green light. Though nothing else is connected to this wireless(like the connection to the cable modem), these 7 LEDs turn on. The only one that does not have a green light is the WAN.
Is this any indication that my wireless router is useless now ? Or is there a fix that I can try?
Thanks

Try resetting the router to factory defaults.
On some routers this is done by holding the reset button for 20-30 seconds, on others, it involves unplugging the router, pressing the reset button, and re-applying power while holding the reset button for 20-30 seconds.
