Linksys wireless-G broadband router says my laptop is conected, but internet wont go on?
My desktop connected through an ethernet cable through the linksys works fine, but the wireless doesnt let me on the internet. It says Wireless Network connection 2 (VallNetwork) speed: 54.0, blah blah blah.
How do I connect my computers wirelessly? Is it the installed software? The router itself?

One way to find out if its your router setup is causing the problem …On your router you might have several connections for Ethernet cables labels 1..2…3..4 ect. Take your Wan (Cable running from the modem to the router) and plug it into one of the available Ethernet slots 1..2..3..4. Unplug the main power from the modem for 30 seconds and connect power again to reset……your router will act as a hub….if you get a connection on your wireless…then you know the problem is with your router software setup.
