The wireless adapter is sold seperatly from the X360 bundle pack and all. You would have to buy one at your local retailers who sell it. Or you can jsut buy a longer ethernet cable if you can both work on the same level no difference in the two hook ups.

Yes it is a replacement if you have a WiFi network within your home. If you do not have a WiFi network it is not a replacement since you would have to purchase the adapter and a router. However, if you do have a WiFi router you can use the xbox 360 wireless adapter to connect your xbox 360 to xbox live for multi-player games and downloads. If you can hard wire i would recommend it for its speed and reliability, but if you cannot the wireless adapter will work perfectly for most homes. Hope this help, and have a nice day.

There isn’t a wireless network adapter that is included with a Xbox 360. If you have a wireless router for your internet, you can purchase a network adapter. They cost around $90.

yes you are right the wireless is instead of the ethernet cord. if you have the wireless network adaptor you do not need the grey ethernet cord.
