How to set up internet access in Windows XP?
I’ve already set up everything. I installed Windows XP on a separate partition from Windows 7. However Windows 7 can recognize my router and internet access fine. Though, XP cannot.
Thank you for reading this. I appreciate all insight, feedback, advice, experience or anything at all.

There should be some sort of Drivers Installation CD that comes with your hardware.
If there isn’t, run the HARDWARE INSTALLATION WIZARD (Go to Control Panel).
If your router is installed, run the DEVICE MANAGER- Press Win Key + Break to get there in a hurry. Does the manager Yellow Flag its drivers?
Before you go looking for them on the Internet, try this: Uninstall the Router, then restart your system, with the router disconnected. When your stem has fully booted, THEN connect the router.
XP should start demanding for the drivers, Choose the "Install Drivers Automatically option."
In questions of this nature, you want to give details such as who MADE that ($#@^) Router.
What Service Pack of XP were you running? (Was it pirated, or genuine?
Genuine ought not give this level of trouble.)

XP and Win7 use different drivers, so look in Device Manager and make sure all the relevant drivers are installed.
