how to design an ethernet network with mainframe accessed from the desktop?

My comany is connecting a mainframe to pc network. But currently connected to terminals.They wud like to access the mainframe from desktop.But now it’s running token ring but the manufacturer only supports ethernet.What are the possible solutions, hardware options and possible reconfiguration and how to redesign it?

you should use tn3270 protocol to connect to mainframe , for this reson there are many software like extrawin

i have just converted a company over that was on serial terminals, i used console servers
