How do you hook up a Wireless Modem and a Wireless Router?
I have a Seimens Speedstream 6520 Modem and a Netgear Router.

Both should have come with installation manuals and/or Cd’s that will guide you step-by-step through the installation process. If for some reason you don’t have these materials, I would try contacting your service provider or searching the website that the modem came from.

Well, the wireless router sends a signal as the wireless modem does. On back of the wireless modem, depends on the brand and model, there should be ports on back. This is also the same for the wirless router. Connect a straight through cable to a port on the wireless modem and wireless router. Now they are connected. You will have to bridge one of the wireless devices are there will be a confilct with IP addresses.

Your wireless modem has a router built into it, you canot use another router with your wireless modem, sorry…..
