How do I install wireless adapter?

I just bought the Netgear wireless adapter, just the adapter, nothing else.
I thought I can get the installation started by just plugging it in, but apparently it’s not working that way. I see it on Device Manger, but it won’t give me internet connection.
Any idea at all? The adapter I have is WNDA3100

you have to install the driver, i did a google search and this is what i got for you…just download the driver
