How do I get internet access through my phone to my laptop?
I know that I need a cell phone that gives internet access and a USB port. I have both. Now, how do I access the internet after the phone is connected to the laptop? Do I need some software? If so please link a website I can go to to purchase this. If I do not need software, please list exactly how I can access the internet.

If you are referring to using VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol), then there are many solutions available. Some example options are:
CallCentric, Skype, Gizmo5, Yahoo Voice, Efonica, PcCall, MediaRingTalk, etc.
