How do I get around validating my identity on a wireless network?
In my dorm hall, we have a restricted wireless network that many people can get through without having to pay for the wireless service the college offers(it automatically did this, they didnt know what happened). However, when I try to connect, it’s status keeps at "validating identity". How can I get around this like the other people in my hall did?

Ask them, or Google.
why do you need to? Start, control panel , connection settings.
If it looks wonky, right click the file and choose properties.
You can also make your computer administered, you do this from start, control panel, user accounts.
