Does anyone know why graphics would 'dumb down' to 8 bit when I start my wireless broadband & how do I fix it?
I just got my laptop a 1 1/2 weeks ago, then got wireless internet a week ago, everything was good until this happens. I just don’t understand why all of a sudden, my graphics turn to crap everytime I connect to the internet, but when I’m not connected it looks fine. Please help!!!

it sounds like an old case of driver or resource conflict. Doesn’t happen often anymore, WindowsXP+ is pretty good at picking it up and fixing it.
You may need to resolve it your self. You can check if this is the case via computer management, go to start and run and type compmgmt.msc
Click ok.
In here look for device manager on the left, then look at the video card under display adapters, in the video cards properties, check out the resources tab, it will tell you if there are any conflicts. The easy solution is to uninstall the video card, reboot, then reinstall with the latest drivers from the manufacturers website. Then if it is still bad, uninstall reinstall the wireless in a similar fashion.
If it still doesn’t work, you may need to play with the resources manually. Or it is time for a reinstall of windows.
