d-link wireless not working ! help ?
i used to have my computer upstairs ,
and recently moved it downstairs ..
but for some reason when i connected it downstairs my d-link isnt working ..
i reinstalled the wireless router to make sure it was installed.
i try to connect to it and it says its connected with 4 bars ! but when i load the internet it says theres no connection..
my only other option is connecting to "linksys"
but that doesnt always have the strongest connection
so it says its connected but doesnt work when it comes to actually going on the internet ..
is there some sort of setting i need to change on my browser ?
help!

Try restarting your modem and D-link wireless router. (the modem is what the router plugs into, in case you don’t know).
If you can connect to the D-link, but not get to the internet, it means you’re connect on the local network, but the D-link is not connected to the internet…. To verify, in case the above doesn’t work, you can always try unplugging the D-link, and plugging that cable directly into your PC to see if it connects. Note that you’ll have to restart the modem after you plug your PC into it.
