Do I need a special Ethernet cable to connect to Xbox Live through my laptop?
I’ve heard that I can’t use the cable that came with my Xbox 360 Elite. I’ve also heard that I need a special CROSSOVER Ethernet Cable. Is this true?

I was wondering if you could get internet connectivity from your ethernet card in the back of your computer?
I used a stanley measuring tape and it measured out to 24inches. What I’m unsure of is if cables are measured differently. If so, what size Ethernet cord would I need? Also, I will not be drilling it anywhere. I’m just going to have it lay on the floor. Don’t worry, Its nothing permanent.
I am considering buying a roku box. The problem I have is that my comcast dsl box only has one ethernet output, which runs to my cpu. What exactly do I need to purchase to run a ethernet connection to the Roku box. I prefer not to go wireless. Thanls in advance for any replies.
I always used to unplug my ethernet cable from my desktop computer and connect it to my laptop so I could access the internet. I have windows vista and now out of no where it wont work. My laptop wont even recognize that an ethernet cable has been plugged in. What can I try?
