Can I plug a ethernet cable into a wireless router?
Basically, I just bought Ethernet plugs which connect to a wireless router and then to a power supply. Then I plug another one in my room and use an ethernet cable to connect online.
But I want to transmit this connection as a wireless signal where I am using a wireless router.
Is this possible?

Short answer is yes. I very much suggest you get out the user guide that came with your wireless router. This will show you step by step how to connect your modem to your router (or if you are in a dorm room from the wall plug to your router) and then set it up so it can connect using wifi (aka wireless) to your computers.
I also assume that you have a computer or laptop that has wifi. The instructions will also help you connect your computer to the wireless router.

I think your question is "can i use both a cable and wireless connections with one router at any given time" the answer is, it depends on the router.
Most wireless routers have a built in 4 port switch so you can use them with both wireless and cabled pc’s.

Most routers come with a 4 port ethernet connection on the back pane. If it does not then you need to buy a ethernet switch and plug it up.

Confused question.

Post MAKE && MODEL of devices for specific instructions
– What does " another one in my room" describe? Another router/modem/…?
-
– What does " where I am using a wireless route" describe? Same room or another location?

Try this
- [Modem] >= [Wireless Router]
OR
- [Modem] >= [Wired Router] >= [Wireless Router]
