Can anybody explain why my "Microsoft Broadband Networking Wireless " is not working?
I have a Microsoft Broadband Networking Wireless (Model: MN-500). All green lights are on saying its conncected but I am unable to receive connection with my laptop. I try to connect to the internet and it has no connection. It does not show my Wireless Network? Can anyone explain why? Thank you in advance

Did you try tools>internet options>connections> make sure never dial for connection is checked. See if that helps.

If its not working properly, you cna ask the company who installed it hten tell them your problem.
If its DROPPING (meaning, you are connected then 5 – 10 mins your connection is DROPPED or you are not connected anymore to the internet), I strongly recommend that you do this:
1. Point you pointer to the wireless network icon located at the lower right of your screen.
2. Right click on it then slect and click on properties.
3. Point and select on authentication.
4. Uncheck the IEEE 802.1x authentication
after doing so, RESTART your computer then try connecting agaid.

did you try resetting the wireless router. you will lose all the settings you had like if you had used a security key or some, but resetting the router will bring it to its manufactured status and then you might be able to pick it up.
