My Dad is often unreasonable and stubborn, and one day when I had been ill he got angry and turned my internet off from 9pm to 7am.
He did this from the main computer downstairs, to my computer in my room. The two computers are on the same wireless network. What can I do to change the internet time restrictions, using the main computer downstairs to a different computer in my room?
I am having issues with my internet not working properly. I want to try to plug my cable internet into my computer or laptop, without using my router to see if it is an internet connection problem or a router problem; because I do not want to buy another router. Since they are so expensive. Please advise.
My Internet and cable was shut off and i need the internet but the only unsecured network barely gets any reception. How can i use someone elses secured wireless internet?
On other phones the internet seems to be a lot faster.

I have ADSL connection with 1mbps of bandwidth. I have 2 computers connected to a switch and the internet bandwidth is shared among the computers. If the the other computer downloads a file from the internet the other computer slows down. Is there a way so that the 2 computers will have access to the maximum amount of bandwidth?
I have 3 user accounts for Internet Explorer. One of them, used by a minor, is a limited account. I have blocked certain pages I don’t want him visiting thru Content Advisor, which I have set a password for. This works great for the limited account, but it also affects my full access "computer administrator" account by putting the same restrictions on my account.
I know I can override the blocked pages by putting in my password, but I’d rather not if I don’t have to. But if I set content advisor for one account, it is enabled for all the accounts, no matter what type it is.
How can I set content advisor on one account only?
I have a DSL internet connection through AT&T and for some reason everytime a door is closed the internet connection becomes interrupted and goes out for around 2 to 3 minutes before it returns to normal. The only idea I have for this is that my old home security system is tripping the signal when the door is closed?? Any ideas are welcome if you know what the possible cause could be.

Okay, I have a blackberry pearl, I pay 30$ a month for the internet and they said I can use the bluetooth to connect to the internet on my laptop. I have the blackberry desktop manager and go to options and get the drop down I choose the usb one, and I can’t choose any bluetooth options. What do I need to do to get the bluetooth options? I have an old computer that runs Warcraft 3 fine when it’s not online. But when it is online it is really bad. The game lags like no tomorrow. I think its the internet. If I get a better computer, with a better graphics card and ram, would the game run smoothly with the same internet.
