I just moved into my new apartment that offers wireless internet. The only problem is I don’t have a wireless card for my desktop and my xbox doesn’t have wireless. Is there a cheap type of router I can buy and configure to turn the wireless internet offered into several wired connections for my other devices?

I used to be a Bell Sympatico member and recently switched over to Cogeco Cable. I am currently running a hard-wired connection from my RCA DMC425 cable modem to my PC (Ethernet).
My question is… Would I be able to run the following setup:
RCA -> 2WIRE -> PC… I would like to have the ability to use wireless through my 2WIRE 2701HG-G modem/router. So in other words, can I bridge the two modems and be able to use JUST the wifi on my router?
Any help/recommendation would be extremely appreciated!! 
I want to buy a wireless USB adapter, does the router have to be compatible with a USB wireless adapter or does a USB adapter work just like any wireless card?
Also, I don’t understand the compatibility between 802.11 and 801.11 or something like that.

I have unlimited internet access with 3 (UK) and have a Nokia N95.
Is there anyway that I can access the internet on my iPod Touch. I know the Touch doesn’t have Bluetooth but connects to the internet using wi-fi.
The N95 is also wi-fi enabled. So can I connect wi-fi and then use the phone to connet to the internet
does all this make sense??
I have a linksys wireless g adapter and a belkin n router. both are old but obviously the the adapter is much older. does it really matters if i get a new one? the highest speed offered to me by my ISP is 15 mbs anyways. I get 6 Mbs if i’m lucky lol.
Iam trying to connect to my own wireless network that I set up & it says Acquiring Network Address…I noticed that there is no address assigned and is showing my IP address s 0.0.0.0 . I know what my computers IP address is, I just dont know how to change it for my wireless network
I have airport wireless on two mac notebooks and one mac desktop in my house (all running OS X 10.4.9) . They sometimes find my neighbor’s wireless point before my own and connect to it without asking me. My neighbors wireless comes in at a week signal and is slow, and obviously I want to use my own wireless acess point. Is there an option somewhere in OS X to make it ignore certain wireless points. Like a block list? Thanks for any help.
Is there something that I can buy to hook up to my PSP that will give me internet access through WiFi or something like that. Preferably, something without a monthly fee.
I have two laptops connected on the same wireless network. One laptop is running Xp the other one Vista. I’m trying to transfer data (music, files) between the two laptops using the local network, but no success yet. can I do this via the wireless newtork?
