I have a small home network with a Netgear router and a bunch of laptops. I recently acquired an old LJ2200d printer, and I was wondering if it would be possible to have this monster operate in a wireless mode. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

If you could give a step-by-step id appreciate it. I’m kind of lost. It says I might have to use a table in the appendix but the only one I found that might work is the binomial probability table and I don’t know what I’m looking for on said table. (I was looking at the n=20 part on the table and assuming that the 95% at the 20 marker was the probability i entered for a, but that was wrong =( )
Ok, I have a D-Link DWL-G650 802.11g PCMCIA card for my notebook. The wireless router I’m using is a D-Link WBR-2310 802.11n/g/b/a. The router is supposed to be compatible with all of the 802.11 standards.
The problem I’m having is I’m constantly dropping my WIRELESS connection. It’s hardly, sometimes not even noticeable when I’m doing anything online OTHER THAN playing poker on-line.
I play at Pokerstars and Full-Tilt, and at both sites I’m constantly “Disconnected” or “reconnecting” to the site when I’m on the laptop and wireless. The desktop is hard-wired through the router and never drops its connection (nor does the notebook when it’s hardwired, so it’s not a problem with the notebook itself). All other PCMCIA cards work fine, so it’s not a problem w/the slots.
This is my 1st wireless setup, and I was wondering if anyone else has had problems such as this with a wireless setup.
Is this a D-Link problem, or just a wireless problem?
I am trying to re-install after a hard drive crash and replacement. I have an on-board, factory installed wireless card. There is no wireless adapter listed in Network adapters.
when i am in [settings] then [internet connction settings], the first thing i see is address setting instead of chosing a wired or wireless connection.
is there any way to make this screen appear? i have a wireless bridge that had conneted to the internet before

I am trying to set up a wireless network for my apartment. My roommate and I have laptops that have wireless capabilities. I don’t have the slightest idea on how to set up this network. I know that I will need a wireless router, and SBC Yahoo DSL is providing me with a free wireless modem. I wanted to buy a router that was not that expensive. I want it to be somewhere in – price range. I also want it to have step by step instructions that will show me how to set the router up. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, where would be a good store to buy a wireless router?
I am writing a paper and I need to convince the school principal and anyone else that me as a teacher feels that our school needs to have internet access and new computers.

I wiped my computer, didn’t back up drivers, looking for network driver, all emachine.com site will tell me is that it’s a 10/100MBp built in ethernet… this means absolutely nothing to me, can anyone tell me where I could find this, or if there’s anything more specific???
