I have an xbox 360 elite and a wireless connection to the internet. I tried to connect by bridging the lan and wireless networks but i dont have a lan. So I’m not sure how to connect to xbox live. What do I need now?
I have an internal wireless card that is working in great already built into my laptop. However I would like to know what will happen if I install an external wireless adapter to it. Will installing it have any undesirable effects on the built in wireless or will it have any positive effects such as boosting the range?

I know that I need a cell phone that gives internet access and a USB port. I have both. Now, how do I access the internet after the phone is connected to the laptop? Do I need some software? If so please link a website I can go to to purchase this. If I do not need software, please list exactly how I can access the internet.
I have a wireless conection to a novell network at my work. The network has a proxy server in place. If I plug my computor directly into a lan cable, i can access the internet (with the proper browser settings in place). When I try to access the internet when I am plugged into the router or wirlessly throuth the router i get an error message.
I have to put an ethernet card into my 10 yr old computer. I have the back cover off the computer, but I need to "punch out" the metal slot so the metal part of the ethernet card is sticking out. I see no screws there, so how do I get the metal slot out of the back cover? Am I making any sense?

I asked a question about a wireless access point earlier. Then I read an answer to a question pertaining someone with their xbox 360 wanting to hook it up wirelessly to the internet without buying the xbox wireless adapter. The answer was to connect a CAT-5 (ethernet cable) from his laptop to his 360 and bridge the connection. Now, I want to creat a WAP with 5 or 6 open slots for connecting computers for my LAN. Can I use my laptop , use cat5 cable to connect it to my standard router and bridge the connection? Is this Possible?
