i have a cricket cell phone so i was going to go through them but i found out that their broadband on works for Windows Vista / XP.
Any suggestions?

I know how to connect it but for some reason my 360 does not detect any network hardware.

i now have my laptop directly connected with virgin cable.
so i have to switch every time i want to use xbox live.
if i buy a wireless router. can i be on the laptop wireless and still use an ethernet cable from the same router to connect to my xbox live for online play? if so will this give me lag and which router do you reccomend?

I went shopping for an ethernet PCI card (I’m getting DSL) I grabbed one, bought it, then later looked closer, and it didn’t say "ethernet" like the others, it says "network"… so is it the same thing? Will it work to connect the DSL modem?
What is the process to get you wireless AT&T security deposit back?
In a few months i will be at the 12 month mark in my AT&T contract. I have had good payment in a timely manner through out the first year of my contract. I was justwondering what the processwas to get the security deposit back? Do i have to request it? Do they just issue you a check? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I have a Acer Aspire 3689, 802.11b/g wireless LAN. My issue is pickng up wifi/hot spot signals because I live in a rural area. I’ve gone to the cantenna sites and this has led me back to another idea ihad, I have a ARRIS model TM502G modem. My computer still detects it but I get a local connection. I connected t to my cable here eventhough this is a new place and I don’t have internet, can I replace that with a rabbit ear antenna set up and pick up wifi? I know its more complicated then just plugging it in, what else would I need to do to get the modem to respond to this?

Wireless and LAN bridge will not work for xbox 360?
I have a dell laptop (with windows xp sp2) with a built-in card that picks up wi-fi. Whenever I always have my Local Area connection and 1394 firewire inputs disabled, but whenever I enable one of those my wireless connection stops working. I’m trying to bridge my LAN and wireless connection to use my xbox 360 through the ethernet port. I’ve also tried internet connection sharing but I always get an error saying something about the ip address already being used by another computer/device. Any tips on how to get this to work?
